I forgot to mention that when Lew and Joe collaborated on an
unpublished western, Lew was staying at Joe's house. Joe
would write for a while, and when he got tired, Lew would
take over and write until he was ready to stop or Joe was
ready to write again. They'd write a page and put it into the
manuscript pile and yell, "Western action as you like it!"
Probably the same thing went on during those p.i.
collaborations, hence the title of the collection.
