DARK RIDE is a book I've been meaning to pick up for quite some time - but for one meaningless reason or another, I never seem to. However, the comparison with Marlowe makes me even more intrigued and has reignited my interest.

Is it worth overcoming my mysterious reluctance to pick up this book - or is RIDE another disappointing hardboiled wannabe?
