If I remember it correctly, Haut read into books like Point
Blank, a paranoid, anti-corporate view of 60s USA. If this is
accurate (ie, Haut's point), then Stark's fiction may be even
that much more relevant to today's world with its pervasive
multi-national mercantilism.
