Eric Hatch is probably best known for writing MY MAN GODFREY, the screwball comedy which was filmed with William Powell and Carole Lombard. He also wrote plays, including KELLY, a comedy-drama about a G.I. and the girl he left behind in Europe. I was unaware that he had ever reached into the darker corners in his work.
