I think it's sort of an acquired taste, but I, for one, think
it's pretty darn good and a creative way of recasting the PI
story. Sort of mix cheap-ass science fiction, Ed Wood, and a
subdued Mike Hammer, and ya got Alphaville. I'd recommend
it.
