Should Spicer be forgotten? I think No Exit reprinted some of
his books. I read The Long Green a few years ago, and thought
it was just fair, so I didn't go after more of his books.
Maybe that was an anomaly. Are all his books with the
detective Carny somebody? He seemed a bit out of central
