explore the possibility of writing a noir musical based on
Shoot The Piano Player. I know that the book was originally
published as Down There by Fawcett Publications, Inc. If you

A Chicago theatre group put on a production based on a Goodis
novel a couple of years ago. I'll see if I can find the
contact details ... someone there may be able to help. Also,
there might be a clue as to the address of the copyright
owners in the acknowledgements in the Pronzini and Adrian
edited collection, Hard Boiled.
