I've also been on a comics binge, and have really been enjoying TRANSMET and ONE HUNDRED BULLETS.

Another hardboiled graphic novels you might enjoy: Greg Rucka's WHITEOUT and Ed Brubaker's SCENE OF THE CRIME: A LITTLE PIECE OF GOODNIGHT. The latter is kind of a Ross MacDonald-type story featuring a 20something eye who actually isn't whiny or annoying!
