Hey, Park Dietz is considered to be one of the icons in the forensics field
(speaking as a forensic psychologist myself). He was one of the founders of the FBI Behavioral Science Unit -- you know, the guys who brought you Clarice Starling and Hannibal Lecter. Lots more about him in John Douglas' book Mind Hunter. I haven't read Douglas' newer book yet -- too many mysteries clogging up my bedside table. Might get to it in the fall. While I tend to believe a lot of what people like Dietz and Ken Lanning say, the FBI has something of a history of going overboard and blowing things out of proportion. R
