I picked up a neat little find over the weekend: HARD-BOILED
DAMES, A Brass-Knuckled Anthology of the Toughest Women From
the Classic Pulps. An
'86 1st hc from St. Martin's, it's a collection of old
hardboiled pulp tales from the '30's that have women
characters as the lead protagonist - somewhat unusual for
that era.
Has anybody read this? Any thoughts?
