The globe-trotting Crider is back in Alvin, Texas, more's the
pity, and he does have a comment. It's probably all a matter
of taste, but I liked Albert's DEVIL IN DUNGAREES (as by Al
Conroy). And I liked the private-eye books in his series done
under the name Nick Quarry, a great pseudonym I've always
thought. I agree with Dick Lochte that the Tony Rome books
are entertaining, better than the Sinatra movies, I
thought.
