RARA-AVIS: Marvin H. Albert

From: Bill Crider ( abc@wt.net)

The globe-trotting Crider is back in Alvin, Texas, more's the pity, and he does have a comment. It's probably all a matter of taste, but I liked Albert's DEVIL IN DUNGAREES (as by Al Conroy). And I liked the private-eye books in his series done under the name Nick Quarry, a great pseudonym I've always thought. I agree with Dick Lochte that the Tony Rome books are entertaining, better than the Sinatra movies, I thought.
