For novels from Woolrich, I'd recommend The Phantom Lady but
my favorite Woolrich book is not a novel and was published
after his death. It's called Nightwebs and is a collection of
some of his great pulp stories edited by Francis M. Nevins,
Jr. It also has a Cornell Woolrich checklist.
