Duane:

DAY OF THE RAM is part of the Brock (The Rock) Callahan series, and I like all the books in it. Some people prefer Gault's Joe Puma books, but I like the Callahan stories just as well. You can't go wrong with Charles Williams. HELL HATH NO FURY is a very good one. RUN FROM THE HUNTER is also an excellent book. If you like Rabe's other books, you'll probably like AGREEMENT TO KILL. I have MURDER IN RED, but I've never read it. Don't know anything about WHIP HAND.
