The religious holidays got me thinking. What are some of the best hardboiled/noir books involving religion? Off the top of my head, I think of God Is a Bullet and whichever one of the Paul Pine "Halo" books
(man, I love the Paul Pines books and story) by Howard Browne/John Evans that involved a cleric. Any other good books involving organized religion? And are any of them non-cynical?
