I've been reading the suggestions for a "hardboiled" music
type with interst. I've come to associate Blues music as at
least capturing something of the ethos of what "hardboiled"
means. Not any specific genre of blues music but blues music
in general. Whether it's an acoustic slide guitar delta blues
number or an amplified Chicago blues creation. I can often
hear a little Stevie Ray Vaughn as I read a hardboiled
novel.
