These days there are no phone booths around. In hotels
there's line of phones on the wall, and if your lucky,
they'll be separated by a piece of board. Sometimes they're
not, and privacy is nonexistent, not that anyone seems
bothered by that. Except me. Outdoor public telephones are
stuck on the wall of a building with a small plastic covering
to shield them from the rain. This is (sort of) on-topic
because I've written about it in a private-eye novel.
