Sorry if this question is off topic but I am a bit too
baffled to keep quiet. Aren't there any phone booths in the
USA nowadays? To have them air conditioned would be an
unthinkable luxury over here (especially as most of them
aren't working anyway) but even a small German town without
this devices seems unimaginable.
