One neglected gem that belongs on your list is THE RIDE BACK (1957), starring William Conrad and Anthony Quinn. Conrad gives a remarkable performance as a scared, sweaty lawman bringing charming, deadly outlaw Quinn back for trial. It's a small B&W "B" movie with a genuine noir feel to it that turns up every now and then on Turner Classic Movies. Well worth seeking out.
