Yeppp! I totally agree with Timothy.
I think I exhausted my "tongue in cheek" capital (and
reserves) with the romantic eyes-thing thread ("the mirrors
of the soul" if I'm not mistaken..)
Sorry to break the news, but between romance and HB novels
there is an absolute link: they both use the roman alphabet
(set aside the Greek and Russian authors).
Are we really going to something r.a.m.esque with this
list?
PS: the cooking book thing was already done; believe it or
not early this year Gallimard-France published a
hors-collection Serie Noire book, with 200 recipes of food
dishes that were mentioned in some of the HB/Noir
novels. The recipes are for real, and from several
different countries.
