Found the thread on the orgin of the term "hard-boiled"
interesting but then after WW1 boot came was suggested as to
it's orgin the htread when to the orgin of the term "Dick"
for a PI. Am researching "Hard-boiled" here and am willing to
take any help if the list would like to once again pick up
the thread. Also was told anything thing "hard-boiled" was
yellow in the middle, the opposite of of this lists meaning
of the term. Suppose "Hard-Boiled" simply refers to a "tough
