He was played by Howard Duff. As we have seen I'm old enough to have listened to 'Your Truly, Johnny Dollar' on the radio. I remember it as being on Sunday night. He was an insurance investigator and the show would be narrated by him as his report to his company. From what I remember to a twelve year old or so it was pretty hard boiled.
