Given the Lone Star State's dessicating environment a Book Bunker may also be the way to go. One could hunt up an unoccupied backyard fallout shelter leftover from the 50s, fit out same with shelves, a comfy chair and one's pb collection, make sure the air-lock door has a nice, tight seal and then you're <set>.
