Not to belabor the point, but this isn't a restricted list.
Anybody can join, and that's beside the point. In the United
States, slander by definition is a deliberate, hurtful
untruth heard by three or more people. By implication, libel,
which is written, not spoken, will always be seen by three or
more people, especially when posted to a news group. The fact
that you say it was an attempt at humor -- which was hard to
read into your post, by me anyway -- is no defense. I wasn't
criticizing you, just cautioning you.
