Something that struck me about the Two Jakes was the voice
over narration. The lack of it made Chinatown more erie (at
least to me). Normally I prefer the first person point of
view when it comes to novels. I'm not so sure it works well
in movies. Think of how different Blade Runner was without
the voice over.
