Zack: I have a theory about what happened to magazines like
MAN STORY and others: guys don't read any more; they watch
videos. I think those straight-to-video movies are what
replaced those stories you mentioned. I don't know of any
websites devoted to them, but a few years ago some card
company did a couple of sets of cover reproductions (crummy
quality, I'm sorry to say).
And speaking of Christmas presents, someone just gave me a
copy of a 1984 GALLERY magazine that has a short story by
Robert B. Parker. "Surrogate" is the title. Does anyone know
whether it's been reprinted?
