There's a new Willeford website courtesy of Maura McMillan on the Dennis McMillan site: http://dennismcmillan.com/charleswillefo - loads of pics, bio- and bibliographical stuff not to mention lengthy excerpts from all the books.

Meanwhile, the film of his Woman Chaser is getting pretty excellent reviews all over the place. Here's a nice bit from a NY Post review:

"Devor's adaptation of Willeford verges on the worshipful, something even the pulp author might have found ironic. The screenwriter insisted on word- for-word line readings, laying down the law on impromptu additions by his star. He was "fanatical about no improvisation," Devor said.

Warburton, also in attendance at the press conference, had this take on his director's approach: "He was an absolute pain in the ass. He was such a stickler about dialogue."
