At Bouchercon,both Max Allan Collins and Loren Estleman talked a good deal about Roy Huggins' THE DOUBLE TAKE during on of the Bouchercon panels. Apparently the plot ahs been used and re-used, particularly in 50s and 60s detective TV shows such as 77 Sunset Strip, for which Huggans wrote the novelization. I wonder if it's a candidate for this group's reading list?
