This may have been discussed at some point in the past, but I just finished a couple of Harry Whittington's Gold Medal novels--A MOMENT TO PREY (formerly BACKWOODS TRAMP) and WEB OF MURDER. They were amazing--unputdownable, suspenseful, and oddly moving.

Does anyone on the list know more about Whittington? Any other of his titles to recommend?
