Since I translated all three of his Red Diamond novels and I
met him in Tokyo and in Los Angeles during the 80's, I know
about him.
He was discouraged in publishing business and is now a
psychotherapist in Portland, Oregon, writing academic papers
and working hard as a father to two children at home. Some
day he may write some fiction like Jonathan Kellerman.
