One of my happiest memories is of a Bouchercon around 1986,
attended by Richard S. Prather. We had a drink (or drinks)
with several other people one afternoon, and I recall his
telling us about the wonders of hawthornberries for
strenghtening the heart. Somewhat later, I sent him some of
my Shell Scott paperbacks, and he kindly inscribed them for
me.
