RARA-AVIS: Bowman Article

I thought the weird thing about the Bowman article was the selection of Children of Light. I'm behind on my Stone, but it seems to me that any one of his earlier novels is more applicable. Children of Light is tawdry Hollywood, I suppose, but it has all that stuff from Kate Chopin's Awakening--not too noir. Dogs of War is perhaps more traditionally hard-boiled--either way, it's all "litratchure," as Reed would say.
