I read Izzo's 'Chourmo' a while ago -- a very good noirish
read. I'm not aware of any in translation. But an excellent
hardboiled author who has been translated (in the UK) is
Didier Daeninckx: 'Murder in Memoriam', 'A Very Profitable
War' (the first is the best). These are published by
Serpent's Tail/Black Mask, who do a great range of
contemporary Euronoir.
Jaspirot is a good writer, but softboiled. I enjoyed his
'10:30 from Marseille', which is a quality locked room
mystery.
