Of those Charles Williams novels listed, the two that aren't in
the suspense
genre are UNCLE SAGAMORE AND HIS GIRLS and THE DIAMOND BIKINI
(which is a
sequel to UNCLE SAGAMORE). Those two are "backwoods comedy,"
and they're
both very good if you like that sort of thing. Nothing at all
like what
you'd expect from Williams, however. He's long been one of my
favorite
writers. I think I probably like RIVER GIRL best among his
books.
