RARA-AVIS: Religious Cult Mysteries

J. Kingston Pierce (jpwrites@sprynet.com)
Sun, 30 May 1999 14:13:25 -0700 OK, let me pick the collective brain here for a moment. Can anybody think of
crime novels, written since the early 1970s, that feature religious cults?
The only ones that spring immediately to mind are Arthur Lyons' "All God's
Children," John D. MacDonald's "The Green Ripper," and Martha Lawrence's
latest Elizabeth Chase mystery, "Aquarius Descending." I know there must be
additional titles along this line, but nothing more jumps out at me from my
bookshelves.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
