RARA-AVIS: Sailing, or Saleing

paperback and in an Armed Services Edition, though it's not hardboiled.
LAZARUS #7 was reprinted as half of an Ace Double under another title, I
believe. Not hardboiled, though. He did a great spy novel in the 1970s,
and he did a western called THE WHITE BUFFALO. Both of those were reprinted
in paper, and the latter was made into a terrible movie with Charles
Bronson. His novel THE OSCAR was made into one of those "guilty pleasure"
movies that's so bad it's good. I realize that none of thos had much to do
with hardboiled fiction, of course.
