Frank is even hardboiled in the otherwise sappy flick YOUNG
AT HEART.
And as Bill has implied, he didn't just act hardboiled, he
lived it!
Let's face it. Previous generations were just tougher than
us! Even the
people we don't usually associate with hardboiled have made
their marks
on the genre.
