All right, all right. I retreat, cower, and hide - to a point.
I still
think that Paul was miscast as Archer. He was too sardonic and
not
compassionate enough. To me, those two films seem like spoofs
of Ross
Macdonald (who, to be frank about it, did need an injection of
humor in
his prose).
