RARA-AVIS: L.A. Times piece on L.A. Lit

Most of the writers who contribute a piece mention Chandler, and many
mention Cain, Nathanael West, Chester Himes, Ellroy, and so on, along with
tons of writers I've never heard of before. Some contributors blather on
quite a bit.
