I have a character that I want to lose big in high-stakes
poker, speeding
his downfall. This is a character who has usually been a
winner, frequently
by cheating. But now, the stakes are high, he doesn't dare
cheat, and he is
up against some competent players.
I need at least three hands, for three short scenes, in which
he would
think he might win, a sequence of plays and raises, and the
hands that beat
him. These are brief scenes that are set among other and
longer scenes. This
takes place in the first-class sections of the liner Queen
Mary in 1936.
Any poker mavens who can give me a hand. So to speak.
