Almost a decade ago, there was a great hard, edgy, very funny novel called
"Buffalo Soldiers" by someone named O'Connor (I forget the first name). It's
one of those
military-misfits-do-heroin-and-horrible-things-at-an-army-base-in-Germany-afte
r-the-Vietnam-War books. It's in the second person.
