However, although it is no fun to see your book trashed, I
think anyone
who reads owes it to the rest of us to post what they
"think". Yes,
there were negative comments here, but I keep telling folks
(and I know
whereof I speak, I reviewed for 3 years for Mystery News as
well as
publishing other places before the internet became the "in"
thing) I
don't think "my" comments would make or break a book. In fact
if I said
'this is a cozy in the vein of Agatha Christie" folks would
rush out to
buy it even though those folks knew I didn't read cozies. I'm
not a
writer or English professor so I can't tell you whether the
"structure"
is good or the grammar is perfect, I can only tell you why I
like or
don't like a book in 25 words or more. Sorry, this went on so
long, but
you don't even want to ask me my opinion of "negative
reviews".
