I love it when people "suss-out" the source material like this! I know a
guy who wrote a sci-fi script, and he literally did a "beat by beat"
reworking of the movie "Total Recall," just with different premise.
(Script sold but didn't get made ... Yet.)

Or as they say, and I know we've all heard it before -- "Good writers
borrow. Great writers steal."

Anyone else know some particularly good steals?
