Well, I've only come across one Crais title so far, _LA Requiem_ and
quick it ain't (King Penguin sized, 366 pages). But it is
entertaining--I'm about 1/3 of the way through it.

_LA Requiem_ is due out at the end of July.

I was a little alarmed to read the press release this morning about my
mother being bought out by AOL. They're willing to let her keep her own
identity within the conglomerate but she had to be branded with AOL's
distinctive logo. Still, it should improve her reach significantly, and
I wish her the best.
