I thought of "K" for "Kafka" too, but didn't like this answer
too much. I
don't think "K" for "okay" fits the context. ("nonpareil,
transcendental, K"
or some such.)
No one else posted about the Greek word that appeared in one
edition. This
answer makes sense to me--remember our psychopath narrator is
Phi Beta
Kappa--but I wonder why it would get dropped--the problem of
the type?
