Terrill is probably right about Hunter's needing all those
words. I've been
wrong more often than not. I wonder if Hunter's ever read
Donald Hamilton's
LINE OF FIRE, which, OK, is a Dell First Edition instead of a
Gold Medal,
but still lean. And maybe a little like a Bob the Nailer book
might have
been done 40 years back.
