<<I'm about a third of the way through Elmore Leonard's
"Rum Punch," and
noticed that Ray Nicolet shows up again in the novel "Out of
Sight" too.
I thought it was a neat touch, connecting two stories that
are otherwise
unrelated. Just curious - does Leonard have a habit of
reusing
characters from one book in another, or is it just wild
coincidence that
I've stumbled on the two books where this happens?>.
Sometimes he brings back characters from other books (as in
_Pronto_ and
_Riding the Rap_), but he doesn't do it systematically. I
don't recall
any character appearing in more than two books, but I may be
forgetting
something. I cede the floor to the encyclopedias...
