RARA-AVIS: Title query redux

Fri, 19 Mar 1999 00:35:52 -0500 Thanks, Bill. I guess I was right. It was both poetry and a play. Which
brings us back on-topic, sort of. The Marlowe attribution reminds me that
E.C. Ayres (author of the Tony Lowell PI series -- there's the topic
connection) is writing a book that postulates that Marlowe actually wrote
the Shakespeare plays after faking his own death to avoid almost certain
prison. Only Gene could come up with a way to blend history, mystery and
what sounds like a kind of hard-boiled Elizabethan identity hustle. Ought to
be one to keep an eye out for.
