The book was written by the same guy who did the film, Alan Sharp, and I do
think the book came out after the film. I don't know if he ever wrote any
other books. The back cover of my copy even has a funky "See the film/Read
the novel" logo." And for you lovers of brevity (I know you're out there),
it's only 144 pages....
