I knew Dave was going to mention the outstanding Swag, which is
the follow up
to the underrated Stick- probably because of the butchering it
received when
translated into the Burt Reynolds flick.
I'm also a fan of the unmentioned Cat Chaser, likewise badly
botched into
film..
The early City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit is better plotted
than most of
the later Leonards, without sacrificing any of the Dutchman's
strengths-
character and dialogue.
