RARA-AVIS: Re: Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Tue, 02 Mar 1999 10:43:55 -0800 Just saw "Lock, Stock, And Two Smoking Barrels," the break-out hit from
England. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hopefully, it'll be the last (and
possibly best) in a line of Tarentino influenced crime pictures.

It was extremely funny and violent, well-acted and plotted. Plus, there
are some exceptional cinematic flourishes, as well as a "balls-out"
rock/funk/ethnic score. I recommend it.
